Graham Blue

Dad was a bandsman for many years and played all over Yorkshire. Skelmanthorpe, Elland, Hebden Bridge and Todmorden are some of the bands that he played with. Dad had to unfortunately retire from playing due to a progressive lung condition and was then diagnosed with blood cancer at Christmas. Despite always being determined to return to to work and playing Dad was too unwell to receive chemotherapy and he passed away peacefully at Overgate hospice on the 8th of January. We were all so proud of my dad for his banding career and would love to hear the many stories/memories from the people he played with over the years.
