Sadly announcing the passing of Gladys. A much loved Mum to Lee, daughter in law Caroline and Nan to Bradley. Special Auntie to niece Dianne and family Steven, James and Natasha also nephew David and family Judi, Charlotte, Fraser, Edward, Amy and Isabelle. Funeral to be held on Tuesday 18th June, 11am at City Road Cemetery. Donations in lieu of flowers to Alzheimer's Research. R.I.P.

Gladys was a lovely friend to me for over 30 years. Along with Sue, we had many laughs together. Her chocolate cake was second to none. Rest in peace dear Gladys. I will miss you. Shona xxx

I first met Gladys when I started working in the Chief Executive Office of the Council with Shona; she was the cleaner for our office. She was a good cleaner; I have known her for over 30 years. We had lots of laughter and banter together at work and in her home after she retired. On our birthdays, she would make us lovely chocolate cakes, which were yummy. My Mother-in-law always looked forward to a slice of her cake which she thought was the best she ever tasted, me too. Gladys bought me a plant for my retirement (12years ago). It is still in my garden, blooming with beautilful purple flowers. I will remember her with deep affection whenever I look at this. Rest in Peace dear Gladys; I will miss you. Love ❤ Sue
