When George Henry Francis Schembri was born on 12 July 1944 in Malta, his father, George, was 31 and his mother, Antonia, was 24. He married Francisca Marion "Anne" "Frances" "Francesca" Greenfields on 19 August 1972 in his hometown. They had two children during their marriage. He died on 8 October 2004 in London, London, at the age of 60, and was buried in Plaistow, Essex.
