Edgar Thomas Norbury

Edgar Thomas Norbury, was married to Alma June Biddle and they had many happy years together. He was in the navy from 1946 on many ships as the lead stoker starting on HMS Glory. He came out of the navy and went onto working at British leyland (Rover). He has a leaving behind a son Gary and daughter Karan he had three grandchildren and many great grandchildren. He was such a character, never stood any nonsense. We all loved that about him. After Alma passed away 21 years ago he lost a part of himself and never really stopped grieving. He loved having around with the younger ones and enjoyed a rum or two. As his grand daughter I have many fond memories of growing up with him and having holidays. He has always been there for us all no matter what. I real brave, strong, honourable man. What a legend and we will all miss him terribly.
