To the one person who taught me everything I knew, to the person who taught me decorum and how to be a kind human. Barbara Honeywell you were much more to me than just a Nan you taught me so much more than anybody else. I loved you and respected you more than you could know I am glad you are at peace and not hurting anymore. Another angel gone way too soon 💕

We said it then and we are saying it now; thank you Barbara for making our wedding day so special. You made the dresses (with no pattern!), you made the waistcoats (again- freestyle’, you made our day. Talented, kind, patient, clever, loving, humorous - I could go on as your attributes were bountiful. You were much loved by all, not least your family. I know you will have been concerned about those you leave behind. Don’t worry; Pauline is just like you and has good friends who will be there for her. Rest in peace . Penny and Paul xx

I was privileged to meet Barbara, grandmother of Jenny and Luka. Barbara made their page boy and flower girl outfits for our wedding. She was a gifted seamstress that brought joy to many occasions in Portsmouth with her skill. She will be missed by many and our prayers are with her family in this sad time.

Dear Grandma, Although we live in The Netherlands and therefore did not get to see you on regular basis, you have always been there for us. We have fond memories of our trips to Portsmouth. When we visited you and Granddad, we would play the mummy game and you would give us English food, like sausage rolls, crisps and bacon. We also remember the Elefun game to catch butterflies on a little holiday together and our trip to Fort Nelson. We loved the outfits that you have made for us! There were princess dresses, pirate outfits, page boy and flower girl outfits, and countless costumes for Dutch carnival, including a Stitch and Chick Chick costume! We will truly miss you! May you rest in peace, Luka and Jenny
