Rahil Ahmed

Rahil Ahmed passed away on February 1st, 2022 at the age of 74, in his hometown of London. His battle with serious medical issues in recent years showed his courage in facing life challenges with a smile. Despite the pain, Rahil came out a hero and stayed strong until the end. As a child, Rahil proclaimed that his goal was to become a “beach bum” when he grew up. This dream was fulfilled when he opened his paddleboard rental shop where he started selling custom boards for the local surf crowd. Rahil met the love of his life, Mariana, while waiting tables while trying to get his business off the ground. It was love at first sight, and she supported business efforts every step of the way. Together, they had one child: Mateo. Rahil will be honored in a beach-side celebration of life on February 5, 2022. Visiting hours are from 6 – 9 pm, with a short ash scattering ceremony at sunset.
