We are broken hearted to announce the loss of Alma a wonderful mum, nan, sister, auntie and best friend. She was cruelly taken from us on 14th January 2021 after losing her battle against covid-19. Here we would like to remember the wonderful lady that she was and we invite you to also share your memories and photos of her here. Alma was born and grew up in the Cally, North London in 1934. One of six children to mum Alice and father Bill - three sisters Maggie, Alice and Joan and two brothers Harry and Billy . Alma was born just before the 2nd World war began and even so enjoyed a happy and free childhood. She often told stories of growing up as a young child during the blitz - and how she played in the 'bombed out' houses. Alma had a great sense of humour, loved to laugh and was always the life and soul of the party. She would always reminisce about the good old times enjoying a sing song and 1/2 a Guiness in the pub! In 1962 Alma married Harry and in 1974 they welcomed their beloved son Mark into the world. Alma was a wonderful nan to three lovely girls Emelia, Maggie and Florence and a lovely mother-in-law to Nicola. The sudden loss of Alma has left a huge hole in our hearts and we all miss her so much. Alma is so loved and will be forever in our hearts x If you would like to attend the funeral please call or message Mark on 07976159816 Due to Covid restrictions we will need to monitor numbers.
