Wells Funeral Services are a truly independent and locally owned firm. We’re not accountable to far off shareholders or corporate goals, we’re accountable to you. We are long standing residents of the loval area and are well established in the local community, which means we recognise and are thankful for the reputation we have built. Our service to you is our greatest asset. We’d like to introduce you to two of the team here at Wells Funeral Service...Rod Major and Nicola Sutton. Rod is all about providing a professional and respectful funeral service, with a careful understanding of the needs of our clients. You are an individual and want to be treated as an individual. Rod’s responsibility is to care for people and make sure you receive a first class service. Nicola is trained and fully qualified as a Civil Celebrant. All of her ceremonies are unique and will take your beliefs, as well as the beliefs of your loved ones, into account. Finding the words to talk about cherished memories can be incredibly important at a funeral which is where Nicola comes in. Not being affiliated to any religion, Nicola will officiate at non-religious services as well as those where an element of religion or spirituality is desired. At Wells Funeral Services, we never compromise on personal service and all our staff are on hand to listen and respond to your wishes. If you want to keep things simple, also with the potential to save you some money, we will assist. In the same way, if you want to look at doing something a bit more bespoke then we will aid you in that too. We will talk through a wide range of options with you so you can choose what is right for your emotional and financial needs. We will always respect your right to make a decision without undue influence.
