Tim Matthews Funerals has a long history of family funeral directing since 1959, with my family and I continuing to offer our professional services from my grandfather’s original premises at ‘The Locks Heath Funeral Home’ in Lyndale Road, Park Gate, as well as out of our second office in Warsash. We continue to look after all family funerals in much the same way as my father and grandfather did, with an emphasis on complete and unquestionable high levels of customer service, care and personal attention, and with continuity of care provided throughout the whole process. From the first call, you will speak to me at our home, not at a call centre. We are available at any time and we will attend to your every need - quietly, calmly and respectfully. The funeral will be arranged by myself, and I will also guide you through every step and every choice in order to help you arrange a fitting funeral that reflects the beliefs and wishes of your loved one. We will never try to ‘sell’ you anything. At Tim Matthews Funerals, we have access to every style of coffin, from traditional to colourful, and we can provide either Mercedes vehicles or horse-drawn Victorian style carriages. However, our main emphasis is on providing exceptional funeral service, and it is to that end in particular that we strive to achieve. Unlike most other local funeral directors we have no shareholders to satisfy, no targets to hit and no coffin sales figures to exceed. Our main objective is to serve you with the most exemplary service we can provide. In short, our commitment to you and your family is nothing short of absolute. I am a past Chairman of The Southampton and District Branch of The National Association of Funeral Directors. We also offer Memorial Masonry and Bentley and Austin wedding vehicles.
