With a high standard of service, we are available 24 hours a day, and can make home visits and offer individual support in every aspect of the arrangement of a funeral. The branch manager is the experienced John McGillivray, who has worked as a funeral director in the Leith, Edinburgh region for more than three decades. Every single funeral arranged by McGillivray Funeral Directors is tailored to the individual needs of the bereaved. Our premises in Leith are open Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm. You will find free parking on the street outside, and upon entering you will be taken to a private arranging room to have an in-depth discussion about your needs. There is also a chapel of rest where you can say farewell to your loved one in peace and privacy. John started his own funeral director business because he felt this would be the best way to serve the bereaved and provide a good farewell for their loved ones.
