Jeremy Rule Funeral Service is an independently owned and family-run business that has dedicated itself to serving the local families of Royston and surrounding areas since 1999. Having built up a wealth of experience in the funeral industry over many years, Jeremy understands better than anyone how distressing and confusing it is to lose someone you love dearly. That is why he thinks that the funeral for your loved one should be expressive of the life they lived and, as such, he and his team take great privilege in looking after all the families they work with, seeking to provide them with comfort and support throughout this difficult period in their lives. Born and raised in Royston himself, director Jeremy Rule has accumulated much experience within the funeral industry, learning the profession from his role as a manager for another local funeral director, until they were taken over by a larger funeral company. Having seen first-hand the take over of independent businesses by larger corporate chains, Jeremy decided to start his own company with the sole intention of providing families with a wholly professional and personalised funeral service. In 2001, Jeremy was joined by his son, Ben, on a part-time basis until he received his qualifications in 2006; he now works in full partnership with Jeremy in order to maintain the company's great standard of service. Having received his Diploma in Funeral Directing from the NAFD, Ben is currently involved in all aspects of the business, from meeting with families to the arrangement and conduction of funerals when necessary. Ben also specialises in the preparation of funeral stationery, as well as the different options available to you and your family for memorials and the organising of funeral donations.
