James McMullan & Son Funeral Directors of Ballymoney and Kilrea have been providing and delivering a caring funeral service to the local community since 1905. In the 1960’s the business was transferred from Cullycapple to Ballymoney and the business has passed down three generations of the McMullan family. Andrew McMullan, grandson of founder Andrew McMullan (Snr) and his staff are all professionally qualified, each holding Diplomas in Funeral Directing and membership of the British Institute of Embalmers. As a firm of independent funeral directors, James McMullan & Son Funeral Directors endeavour to provide a caring, dignified and complete funeral service for our customers. Our experience is second to none and we deliver outstanding levels of care for both the living and the dead, providing the best facilities and the very highest of professional standards. We’re proud members of the National Association of Funeral Directors and provide a wide range of services to our customers. We can help no matter whether you wish to hold the funeral in a church or in your own home, or you are welcome to hold the ceremony at our own funeral home here in Ballymoney. James McMullan & Sons Funeral Directors are able to assist with a choice of coffins and caskets, a fleet of funeral vehicles and floral arrangements. We’re also able to help you manage any charitable donations that you wish to organise in memory of your loved one. We can assist with funeral stationery and any necessary printing of orders of service and can provide catering choices should you wish to have refreshments after the funeral. We can arrange death notices in the local press and we’re also able to provide a repatriation service to bring your loved one home to Northern Ireland should they have passed away abroad, or arrange their return home should they have died here and wish to be returned to their country of origin.

Really great service from start to finish. Ensured my grandmothers last wishes were carried out. Even tracking her family plot, arranging a notice for the local paper and ensuring everyone that wanted to attend the service was informed. Thanks Andrew and everyone at McMullans.
