For more than one hundred years, the family owned and run firm of J.J. As one of Irelands oldest established funeral directors, we commenced business in the 1880's in the Primrose Hill area of Armagh City; the firm then moved to its current premises on Thomas Street in the early 1900's where it now trades under the expert guidance of the fourth generation of the McArdle family. Over the decades the firm has had the great honour of arranging and conducting the funerals of the last five Cardinals. Our premises consist of a tastefully decorated funeral home that provides privacy and peace for family and friends to pay their respects to their loved ones. a newly refurbished coffin showroom, offices and an in-house modern embalming suite ensuring private and dignified preparation and care of your dearly departed. Our 24-hour service runs 365 days a year and, while we cannot eradicate the grief associated with bereavement, we can certainly take all the stress out of this difficult time with our reassurance and sensitive, calm counsel available to you on the many aspects of directing the funeral of your loved one.
