Green Oak Funeral Services is an independently owned, family-run company based out of Greenock, Inverclyde. The three words we run our business by are: Personal - Professional - Caring, and they can be seen through everything we do when we serve you and your family. You can be assured that, if you choose us, our compassion, integrity and respect will be there for you throughout every stage of the funeral process. We are members of the National Society of Allied and Independent Funeral Directors (SAIF), and we work to the high standards of the Society’s Code of Practice which all members must abide by. We are also signatories to the Fair Funerals Pledge which means we will always charge clear prices for our services and any goods. We set up Green Oak as we know how difficult it can be to think about funeral arrangements at a time when most people experience a profound sense of confusion and anxiety. It is our job to help you in this time and ensure that the funeral arranged is what you want. We believe that the funeral is a vital part of the grieving process. We believe this because a funeral allows us, as family and friends to express our emotions whilst paying respect and, hopefully, creating a treasured memory of the day. There is no right or wrong way to say goodbye – only what’s right for you. Our role at Green Oak is to provide you with specialist guidance and advice so that you can make the decisions in your way. Our role is not to dictate the choice of funeral, those decisions are for you and your loved one. We understand the needs and requirements of families and we are proud and privileged to be of service.
