Clydebank Co-operative Society is an independent Society, it is one of only two remaining Scottish Independent Co-operatives. It was established in 1881 by the people of Clydebank to provide a service to the community at an affordable price. Our prestigious funeral home in Hume Street Clydebank is unrelieved in this area, it provides a large warm and welcoming reception area, service room which can seat over 80, private chapels of rest for paying your respects and private rooms for making your arrangements. Our Funeral Department provide a caring, professional service to the families we serve. We provide the best of both worlds, the traditional values of a Co-operative and the personal caring service that you would expect from being an independent. Every funeral we provide is tailored to the individual needs of the family, we can take care of all your funeral wishes and requirements, our experienced and professionally qualified staff can offer you guidance and advice. We have our own state of the art mortuary facilities and qualified embalmers on site so you can rest assured that once you entrust us with the care of your loved one they will remain in our care until the day of the funeral. We also offer a Simple funeral which consists of our professional services fee, a simple wooden coffin and a classic hearse for £1650. This excludes all disbursements such as a cremation or burial.
